Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her work on the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' you are awestruck. Emeraude Toubia is also a talented dancer and model. A Montreal born native, she grew as a child in Texas and has been attracted to dance and performing. As a little girl she began to learn diverse forms of dance. When she was 15 she began competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008 when she took part in Season 2 of the Univision beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina. Toubia made her acting debut in 2010as receptionist on an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she was in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
