She was a singer, performer and designer and broke barriers in the industry of music. She was both traditional and modern, she was a Mexican American who brought two worlds in a unique way. The tragic loss of her life shattered her growing popularity and, as often happens when a bright deeply genial star dies far too young left many to mourn every potential that was not fully realized. In order to prevent her achievements from becoming forgotten, many fans over these past few times have been motivated to go further. Selena's shooting death sparked emotions in the Latino community that is similar to Elvis Presley, and John Lennon. Selena was a wildly well-known Latino singer throughout North America. Her music transcended cultural barriers and inspired both young people and older adults. A flamboyant sexy stage performer sometimes hailed as Selena the Latina Madonna Selena was nonetheless seen as a role model on stage she was a family-oriented involved in anti-drug initiatives and AIDS awareness programmes.
