Jill AND Mary

Jillian Hernnessy (born on November 25 in 1968) is a Canadian actress, singer who had a major impact on American television. She's best known for her amazing performance on American television programs like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Her acting talents were on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent film, she exercised co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy launched her career in the role of an actress Dead Ringers with her sister. Her Broadway debut was in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the fall of that year, she joined the crew of the NBC hit crime show Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. As a result of these roles she was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker won the Tony Award 2001 for Best Actress in the Broadway Play Proof.
