Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family. Ryder thinks she's Jewish. She also has a half-sister, Sunyata Jubal. Her older brother is Uria. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children into Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old. They was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder would read extensively due to the lack of television. Ryder started to take acting classes at American Conservatory Theatre when she was 12 years old. At the age of 15years old, Ryder was offered her first part onscreen, playing Lucas. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout high school. Ryder hoped her career in acting would end the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Still, she pursued her dreams. Beetlejuice which was a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major breakthrough. Ryder had a successful role in numerous films. In 1993 she received two nominations in the Academy Awards. One of was for her performance In The Age of Innocence.
