D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. He gained fame due to his work as a character in Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived and diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. After two years of treatment, the cancer is now in remission. The treatment began so early that it caused a serious influence on the body and stunted his growth. Because he was a child of poverty, he wanted to achieve financial stability. When he was interviewed, he mentioned that if I don't achieve the financial security or feel out of control in the world I will feel miserable. The man also thinks back on his youth and hopes to address the problem of bullies. Cruelty breaks my heart he says. His ideal film role and in life is that of father. Yet he confesses "Directors do not cast me in those roles." It's great to be one day a parent himself, when the time comes when he can devote more time with his career and spend more time with his children.
